Vienna`s Barrio Fiesta was celebrated last July 12, 2008 and was organized by Circulo Caviteño, in cooperation with the Philippine Embassy. The event was well attended with an estimate crowd turnout of at least 2,500.

Live festivities featured cultural presentations, food bazaar and traditional dances and songs from various groups that showcase Filipino talents and ingenuity. The Filipino Channel (TFC) brought singer and actor Randy Santiago to entertain the crowd.

As one of the sponsors of the event, iRemit set up a booth exhibit and placed banners onstage for maximum exposure. Ms. Odette Aguilar, iRemit Country Head of Vienna and her team offered free visa card opening application with free eco-friendly bags for every new registration. The Summer Bonanza promo of 50% discount service fee for new remitters was announced by the emcee as well as sponsor mention during the program. The booth was also visited by Senator Gringo Honasan and Ambassador Linglingay Lacanlale.
