The representatives from the Philippine Embassy in London headed by 1st Secretary and Consul Bernadette Therese C. Fernandez together with Mr. James Martinez, iRemit UK Marketing Officer, Mr. Alfredo Recio Jr., SSS Representative and Mr. Kit Tupas of FilCom-NI went to Belfast City, Northern Ireland last March 29-30, 2008 to join the consular outreach in three hospitals namely Royal Victoria Hospital, Ulster Hospital and Belfast City Hospital. The purpose of their visit was to extend help to Filipinos in Belfast on processing of their Philippine passports and to assist some in applying for Dual Citizenship (retention of Philippine Citizenship). iRemit`s participation in the said program will support establish our presence in Northern Ireland and tap potential clients in the area.
